Quedan sin embargo muy lejos de las aspiraciones de la oposici&oacute;n, cuyo principal grupo pol&iacute;tico, el Wefaq (chi&iacute;) abandon&oacute; aquella cita y el Parlamento en protesta por la represi&oacute;n al movimiento democr&aacute;tico. Tampoco mencionan al primer ministro, un t&iacute;o del rey, que lleva en el puesto desde la independencia del pa&iacute;s en 1971 y al que muchos consideran responsable directo de la represi&oacute;n.</p>\r\n<h3>\"Cambios marginales\"</h3>\r\n<p>Matar Matar, un exdiputado del Wefaq, calific&oacute; las reformas de \"marginales\". Los partidos est&aacute;n t&eacute;cnicamente prohibidos en Bahr&eacute;in y se denominan asociaciones pol&iacute;ticas. Lo que Wefaq y otros que apoyan la revuelta piden es que el Gobierno refleje el resultado de las elecciones, algo que dar&iacute;a a los chi&iacute;es puestos clave.</p>\r\n<p>Ah&iacute; entra en juego la delicada situaci&oacute;n regional que ha puesto a ese peque&ntilde;o reino, base de la V Flota estadounidense, en la l&iacute;nea de frente en la lucha por la influencia entre el Ir&aacute;n chi&iacute; y una Arabia Saud&iacute; furibundamente sun&iacute;.
