Antes la homosexualidad en los pol&iacute;ticos s&oacute;lo exist&iacute;a a nivel de rumor, como en los casos de Castelar o Aza&ntilde;a. Tras la aprobaci&oacute;n del matrimonio homosexual se ha llegado a la plena normalizaci&oacute;n legal, pese a encontrar oposici&oacute;n de muchos sectores, sobre todo a la posibilidad de que parejas homosexuales puedan adoptar. Se nos describe la trayectoria de Roberto Orbea, de Portugalete, hijo de un arquitecto af&iacute;n al r&eacute;gimen, participante en las protestas universitarias de 1956, estudiante de Derecho afiliado a la Federaci&oacute;n Universitaria Democr&aacute;tica de Espa&ntilde;a FUDE, adjunto del catedr&aacute;tico Eusebio Moreno, cesado junto a &eacute;l, y abogado defensor de etarras en el Proceso de Burgos (1970). Trabaja como abogado defendiendo sobre todo a acusados por el TOP y es alto cargo en un partido de unificaci&oacute;n de socialistas y comunistas dirigido por Moreno, al que se espera suceda como secretario general. El partido tiene un logotipo que un la hoz y el martillo y un pu&ntilde;o en alto, especie de mezcla de PSOE y PCE. Cantan la internacional. Participa en las elecciones de 1977, logrando acta de diputado por Madrid, en los pactos de la Moncloa, en el anteproyecto de Constituci&oacute;n y preside una comisi&oacute;n parlamentaria que combate la violencia de grupos incontrolados de ultraderecha, que hab&iacute;a sido solicitada por &eacute;l, para prevenir sucesos como los de Montejurra, Atocha o el atentado a El Papus y muertes de estudiantes &ndash;referencia a Arturo Ruiz y otros-. Participa en la campa&ntilde;a para las elecciones municipales, en las que promete escuelas, guarder&iacute;as y centros culturales. Estuvo encarcelado 2 meses en Carabanchel tras ser detenido en abril de 1976 por orden del ministro de Gobernaci&oacute;n Fraga, del gobierno Arias Navarro, por participar en una manifestaci&oacute;n de la Coordinadora Democr&aacute;tica (esto es. la Platajunta). All&iacute; se relaciona con Nes, joven chapero encarcelado por peligrosidad social, que le recuerda la tristeza que sinti&oacute; por los fusilamientos de miembros del FRAP (27 de septiembre de 1975). En la c&aacute;rcel tambi&eacute;n est&aacute; un cineasta llamado Juan, interpretado por Juan Antonio Bardem. Finalmente se abre el proceso de di&aacute;logo con el nuevo gobierno, que Areilza no presidir&aacute;, cosa que no esperaban. Mantuvo su primera relaci&oacute;n homosexual en la mili. Tambi&eacute;n las ha mantenido con mujeres, lleg&aacute;ndose a casar con Carmen, compa&ntilde;era de militancia, m&aacute;s que nada para guardar las apariencias, aunque llega a quererla. Roberto condena la violencia, porque en un sistema democr&aacute;tico y tras una amnist&iacute;a ya no est&aacute; justificada, mientras que en Burgos pretend&iacute;a hablar de las motivaciones del terrorismo en un r&eacute;gimen totalitario. Tambi&eacute;n condena la violencia de extrema izquierda, en la que sospecha que hay infiltrados (referencia indirecta al GRAPO). Opina que las revoluciones no se hacen matando a Aldo Moro. Roberto describe el ambiente homosexual de la &eacute;poca, presidido por la sordidez y la marginalidad, en urinarios p&uacute;blicos, filas de atr&aacute;s de determinados cines, salidas de billares y academias&hellip; Su mujer Carmen conoce su condici&oacute;n y consiente sus relaciones con hombres, en una relaci&oacute;n presidida por la sinceridad mutua. Acaba participando en un tr&iacute;o con Roberto y Juanito, tras fumar porros y conversar sobre la posibilidad de legalizar las drogas, algo que acabar&iacute;a con los traficantes. Tambi&eacute;n aparece una org&iacute;a en un chalet, de la que Juanito se va al no soportar al due&ntilde;o, que pone coca&iacute;na en los genitales de Juanito y de una chica y pretende hacer un tr&iacute;o. Nes tiene un amigo portugu&eacute;s, tambi&eacute;n relacionado con la ultraderecha, que opina que tras la revoluci&oacute;n de su pa&iacute;s no se hizo otra cosa que sacar banderas rojas y perder Angola. Se ven los gustos musicales de la &eacute;poca. En su apartamento, antes local de reuniones clandestinas y ahora picadero, Roberto s&oacute;lo ten&iacute;a m&uacute;sica de Ana Bel&eacute;n y V&iacute;ctor Manuel, Raimon y Serrat, gustos t&iacute;picos de izquierdas, mientras que a Juanito le gusta el rock y el flamenco.
