En los últimos años China ha multiplicado su presencia en África: comercio, infraestructuras, inversiones directas y también bases militares. Desde el año 2000 las relaciones comerciales entre China y África se han multiplicado casi por 30 y hoy el gigante asiático es ya el primer socio comercial de todo el continente.
Sin embargo, este proceso está generando una importante ola de críticas y no son pocos los que manifiestan su honda preocupación por los efectos que esta “invasión” pueda tener en las economías africanas; incluso hay quienes defienden que nos encontramos ante una nueva clase de colonialismo.
¿Hay motivos para preocuparse? ¿Está China realmente colonizando África? ¿Son positivos o negativos los lazos que se están estableciendo? ¿Por qué China tiene tanto interés en el continente negro? Hoy, en VisualPolitik, te hablamos de la presencia china en África, de sus causas y sus consecuencias.

Es decir, sería algo así como el equivalente a una canción del Partido Popular interpretada en español por un pastor de Gipuzkoa rodeado de todos y cada uno de los iconos de la cultura vasca.
