Los resultados que se presentan corresponden a la fase experimental de la investigación, realizada a través de una entrevista semiestructurada para profesores chilenos y españoles de educación secundaria. En estos se da cuenta de una profunda valoración por parte de los docentes de la enseñanza de la transición en el aula y sus posibilidades educativas para el desarrollo de competencias ciudadanas. Sin embargo, señalan los obstáculos que encuentran en el currículum para desarrollarlo, en especial desde el punto de vista del tiempo asignado a la temática.
