Marginación explicable, primero, por una visión demasiado personalista y predeterminada de la\nTransición, centrada en la importancia del ensanchamiento social de las clases medias como cambio estructural decisivo y en la\nnegociación cupular de élites políticas; más tarde, cuando se atendió al conflicto social y a la primacía de la sociedad civil para\nexplicar el proceso de emergencia de la España democrática, fue la acción obrera y la dinámica industrial-urbana la que concitó la\natención prioritaria, dejando en una discreta penumbra a los trabajadores del campo o en todo caso identificándolos plenamente\ncon el sindicalismo industrial. En este articulo se analizan, en primer lugar los factores de politización campesina en la década de\n1970, básicamente mejorada de precios agrarios, reducción de importaciones extemporáneas y aplicación de medidas\nestructurales o \"complementarias\" (epígrafes 1 y 2). A partir de ahí, los agricultores progresistas evidenciaron la urgente\nnecesidad de encontrar nuevas fórmulas de representación sindical y política (epígrafe 3). A continuación se ahonda en la\npluralidad sindical agraria en la segunda mitad de los setenta, tanto en lo referido a sindicatos de clase como a organizaciones\nprofesionales agrarias, subrayando sobre todo la estrecha vigilancia -y hasta los intentos de fagocitación- de unos incipientes\npartidos políticos deseosos de posicionarse y de ganar adeptos.
